OUR STORY

A Dream That Chose Courage Over Certainty.

Data Confiance began in 2009 with no large pool of capital, no inherited business network and no promise of an easy journey. It began with one young professional from Indore who believed that technology businesses could be built differently—with technical integrity, personal accountability and trust at the centre of every relationship.

From a young engineer’s uncertain first step to a trusted technology integration company.

THE BEGINNING

Between a Secure Career and an Uncertain Dream

Subodh Jamindar grew up in Indore in a salaried family where stability was not merely preferred—it was respected, protected and expected.

The Professional Horizon

Equipped with a Bachelor of Engineering and MBA, building a steady career in IT infrastructure.

Roots in Indore

A tier-two city background where stepping away from salaried stability required courage.

Security THE DECISION Possibility

Like many ambitious young people from a tier-two city, his journey began with education. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering and later an MBA, preparing himself for a dependable professional career. He entered the IT infrastructure industry, learned how projects were sold and executed, and began building an understanding of customers, technologies and business relationships.

Professionally, life was moving in the right direction. Yet something remained unsettled. He wanted to create something of his own—not simply to carry the title of an entrepreneur, but to build a company whose reputation would be created through its work.

Should he protect the security his family understood, or risk it for a future no one could guarantee?

He did not begin because the road was clear.
He began because the dream would not allow him to remain where he was.

THE DECISION

2009 — Starting With Belief, Not Capital

In 2009, Subodh made the decision to move from professional certainty to entrepreneurial uncertainty and established Data Confiance in New Delhi.

Resourcefulness Over Restraint

The timing was not easy. India’s startup ecosystem was very different from what it is today. Early-stage capital was difficult to access, particularly for a service-led technology company without inherited assets or established financial backing.

There were no comfortable funding rounds to absorb mistakes. Working capital had to be protected carefully. Vendor payments, employee salaries, travel, demonstrations and project execution often had to be managed before customer payments were received.

When financial capital was limited, trust became the company’s first real currency.

EARLY CHALLENGES

Building Credibility One Project at a Time

The first few years were not defined by scale. They were defined by survival, learning and consistency.

01 Engineer site survey

Site Survey & Planning

Assessing physical & logical constraints before laying a single meter of cable.

02 Structured cabling installation

Structured Cabling

Disciplined copper and fibre installation adhering to strict standard guidelines.

03 Fluke testing equipment

Fluke Testing Validation

Validating decibel loss, crosstalk and throughput performance for every link.

04 As-built documentation review

As-Built Handover

Delivering complete rack elevations, port maps and warranty documentation.

No shortcuts. No invisible compromises.
OUR FIRST DEFINING ALLIANCE

The R&M Chapter — When Ambition Found the Right Standard

As Data Confiance began working on more demanding structured-cabling projects, Subodh understood that growth could not depend on effort alone. The company needed technology partners whose engineering philosophy strengthened its own delivery commitments.

Design With the Future in Mind

Infrastructure should not only satisfy present requirements; it must remain reliable as bandwidth and business needs evolve.

Install With Measurable Discipline

Quality could not depend on visual inspection alone. Testing, certification and standards adherence became core to our culture.

Stand Behind the Outcome

Customers were trusting Data Confiance with the physical foundation of their digital operations—and we backed every cable.

Connected by standards. Strengthened by trust.
BUILDING THE TEAM

A Company Begins With One Person. It Grows When Others Believe.

Entrepreneurship may begin as a personal decision, but an organisation can only be built when other people choose to make the dream their own.

The organisation did not grow because one person knew everything. It grew because the right people brought their strengths to the same purpose.

THE TRANSFORMATION

2017 — From Networking to Diversified System Integrator

By 2017, customers were no longer looking at cabling, networking, security, servers and data centres as isolated requirements.

They needed partners capable of seeing the complete environment—understanding how infrastructure, connectivity, protection and business operations worked together.

Data Confiance chose transformation, repositioning itself as a diversified system integrator capable of taking responsibility for complex environments.

A NEW TECHNICAL CHAPTER

Mr. Himanshu Upadhyay & The Move Into Data Centres

A major part of this transformation was the association with Mr. Himanshu Upadhyay, who joined the organisation as Chief Technical Officer (CTO–Technical Services).

His arrival added deep architectural leadership, expanding Data Confiance into turnkey data-centre solutions where redundancy, standards, power, cooling and availability must work together with extraordinary precision.

GROWING THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS

From One Alliance to a Complete Technology Ecosystem

Every new capability required the right technology relationship to ensure complete architectural resilience.

Passive cabling
Building the Physical Foundation

R&M · Panduit · Molex · CommScope

The journey began by learning how to build the network beneath the network—cabling, fiber, racks and physical pathways.

Active networking
Making the Foundation Intelligent

Cisco · Cisco Meraki · Aruba · Ruckus

The physical foundation was no longer enough. It had to become connected, manageable and intelligent across LAN, WAN and Wireless.

Network security
Protecting Every Connection

Palo Alto Networks · Cisco · Fortinet · Sophos

Every new connection created opportunity—but also responsibility. Next-gen firewalls and threat response became essential.

Data security
Protecting What the Network Carries

Zscaler · Red Hat · Specialised DLP

The objective was no longer only to protect infrastructure. It was to protect trust itself through zero-trust access and DLP.

Backup & continuity
Preparing for the Unexpected

Acronis · Druva · Disaster Recovery

Resilience became as important as performance. Ensuring rapid recovery whenever unforeseen disruption occurs.

PROJECTS THAT BUILT THE COMPANY

Every Customer Added More Than Revenue

For Data Confiance, growth was not simply the accumulation of purchase orders. Every project added a lesson.

FOUNDER'S REFLECTION
“When I began Data Confiance, I did not have a large financial foundation or an established business legacy. What I had was industry experience, the willingness to work and a belief that trust could become our greatest differentiator.

The journey has tested us many times, but every challenge has also introduced us to people who made us stronger—our colleagues, customers, technology partners and well-wishers.

What began as my personal aspiration is no longer my story alone. It belongs to every person who has helped build Data Confiance.”
